The Knicks scored 71 points in the first half, the first time in 19 years and a season high in points scored in a quarter

Fourth, Barrett scored 21 points and Randle added 20 in the first half, making it the first time the Knicks had at least two players score 20 points in the first half since Jan. 27, 2003 (Curt Thomas had 22 points and Rewell had 20) against phoenix.

So it was a difficult first half, but the lakers went on a 22-8 run in the second half to pull the lakers within one point.
